YORKIE PUPPIES ARE CUTE! Although they are small and sweet Haven asks that you please do your research BEFORE YOU ADOPT a Yorkshire Terrier into your family. Whether you are looking for an all tan little one or a classic tan face and blackish steel blue bodied Yorkie there are many breeders and you should choose wisely. Yorkies can be anywhere in weight from the original 20 pounds to as small as a tea cup 2-3 pounds. To give you an idea of their size Haven is full grown at 7 pounds.

This is a very special small breed dog whether you are looking for a loving lap dog or a show dog. Most Yorkies come with papers and are registered (not always the same thing) and some common clubs are: AKC (American Kennel Club), United Kennel Club, Pacific Kennel Club, Canadian Kennel Club, and The Kennel Club in London (the breed began in England). A good book to buy is (Yorkshire Terrier, A Kennel Club Book tm) you can find it on Amazon and in most book stores!
